piety in the sky: We were orphans (a rough draft) →
pietyinthesky: We’ve said it all before but I’m still broken and your still there I’m scared to death that one day you’ll really need me And I’ll just stand there, scared. With our first breath we mourned the loss of safety So confounded by what it means to see If you are you then what does that make…

To Jess and Andrew
Honestly. It makes me want to cry knowing that there’s two old friends on campus that don’t like me and have no good reason for not liking me. Just because I continue to show you kindness and love, doesn’t mean I am immune to feeling hurt when you choose something over me. Or when you choose to be spiteful instead of kind. I think the common misconception about unconditional love...

Now I'm Mad.
Page, You were issued two citations on 2/6/12 and two citations on 2/8/12, one each for no permit and parking where prohibited, on both days.  The two no permit citations 02002809 and 02002862 have been waived in exchange for purchasing a commuter permit. However, the other two citations for parking in a faculty/staff lot cannot be dismissed.  Lot P6 is clearly marked as faculty/staff parking. ...

These come at the worst time.
I’m sorry to bother you, but I think I was wrongfully ticketed in a Faculty/Staff parking lot behind the library. I was given two tickets at once on different occasions, and I am appealing these two, seeing as I have paid the other two. It seems that I was given one ticket for not having a permit, and another one for parking in the wrong parking lot. To me, this seems unfair. I...

Your driving too fast on this road well known. A road that moves fast enough on it’s own. You think you know the curves and stops. But it’s a different story when there’s no cops. If you just sit and wait you will reach your destination. But when you know you’re alone, you welcome temptation. How can you know where to stop or slow down? When you’re not paying...

Sorry another moon story.
People take the moon for granted. We relate more to the moon than we do to the sun. It’s just a mere reflection of what the sun has to offer. There’s so much darkness all around it, and all it can do is continually chase the sun, and do the best with what it has. Even though it doesn’t accomplish much it still shows that there’s something better. It’s still bright...

The Squeezings of my Brain Grapes.: It Doesn’t... →
jedbrewer: For many of us, we’re tempted to feel like there’s a thing we’ve done that’s put us into a different category of person. For some, the thing is that we became sexually active. For others, it’s that we started looking at pornography. And for others still, it’s that we started using drugs. …

Wake Dead Man, Wake - As Cities Burn
pietyinthesky: let the dead bury their own dead will you still love me in famine as when love began at the harvest or would you gain the whole world son, I love you at your darkest but what good is the whole world when I promise no tomorrow I only promise your tomorrows will never take you past my palm love, what is love without trust at my word would you bring your isaac son, I loved you at...

We should be more like the moon.
I understand why people say goodnight to the moon. Not because they want to be silly. The moon is always there. Somehow it makes me feel better. I have something consistent in my life that doesn’t require anticipation, hope, or anything in return. It doesn’t have a purpose to serve to me, but yet it still makes me happy. It’s just there. And for that I am thankful. So have a goodnight moon.
